Hospitality One Source has promoted Nathan Charlton to President, expanding his leadership remit at the hospitality manufacturer and supplier as the company looks to strengthen customer partnerships, operations and long-term growth.
Charlton previously served as Executive Vice President of Sales at the company. In his new role, he will oversee Hospitality One Source’s strategy, operations and growth, with a continued focus on deepening customer relationships and expanding the company’s presence across the hospitality sector.
The promotion places Charlton at the centre of a business that serves hotels, resorts and distribution partners across North America. Hospitality One Source, which owns Pressto Valet, supplies products including bellman’s carts, ironing boards, luggage racks, housekeeping supplies and in-room amenity items across the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Charlton joined Hospitality One Source in 2021. Since then, he has helped expand the company’s footprint, strengthen relationships with major hotel brands and group purchasing organisations, and bring new product solutions to market in response to changing guest and operator needs.
The company said he has also played a role in its digital transformation, including the development of new websites, digital assets and enhanced product imagery designed to make it easier for partners to find, evaluate and order the products they need. That operational detail is important because supplier relationships in hospitality increasingly depend on speed, clarity and ease of procurement, not only product quality.
In his new position, Charlton will report directly to the board of directors and guide the company as it builds on its recent growth and executes its long-term vision. His appointment reflects the company’s decision to elevate a leader with direct knowledge of its customers, product categories and day-to-day commercial operations.
Charlton brings more than 14 years of experience in hospitality sales and territory management. His background is particularly relevant in a supplier business where growth depends on understanding hotel operations, owner requirements, brand standards and the practical pressures faced by property teams.
For hotel operators, product procurement is often discussed as a back-end function, but it has a direct impact on the guest experience. Bellman’s carts, luggage racks, ironing boards, housekeeping supplies and in-room amenities may not define a brand story on their own, but they affect how consistently a property operates. Poorly chosen or unreliable products can create friction for staff and guests, while durable, well-designed items support smoother daily service.
That makes supplier leadership more strategic than it may appear from the outside. Hotel groups and ownership companies are looking for partners who can combine manufacturing capability, sourcing reliability, product consistency, service responsiveness and commercial discipline. This is especially true for multi-property operators and group purchasing organisations that need scalable solutions across different asset types and markets.
Hospitality One Source’s own positioning reflects this shift. The company describes itself as a specialist in sourcing, manufacturing and delivering durable, design-conscious hospitality solutions intended to support client operations across property tiers. It also states that its product lineup is designed to help clients improve operations and elevate the guest experience.
The Pressto Valet brand adds another layer to the company’s supplier proposition. Pressto Valet positions itself around refined and reliable products for upscale properties, with categories including bellman’s carts, ironing boards and accessories, guest room amenities, luggage racks and housekeeping products. For Hospitality One Source, owning a brand focused on luxury and upscale operational products gives the company a clearer route into properties where design and durability need to work together.
Charlton’s sales background may also help shape the company’s next phase because hospitality suppliers are being pushed to become more consultative. Hotels are not simply ordering individual items. They are seeking procurement partners that understand opening timelines, renovation cycles, brand requirements, regional distribution and the operational realities of busy properties.
The promotion also comes at a time when hotel operators are paying closer attention to efficiency. Labour pressure, cost control, guest expectations and supply-chain reliability have all made operational purchasing more important. Products that reduce friction for teams, improve consistency and hold up under daily use can help protect both service standards and margins.
For Charlton, the move from Executive Vice President of Sales to President represents a wider mandate across the business. It shifts his role from commercial leadership into overall strategic and operational oversight, while keeping customer relationships at the centre of the company’s growth agenda.
For Hospitality One Source, the appointment signals continuity as well as expansion. By promoting from within, the company is placing its next phase under a leader who has been closely involved in its recent growth, customer development and digital improvements.
As hotels continue to look for supplier partners that can support both guest-facing quality and operational reliability, Charlton’s task will be to turn Hospitality One Source’s product and relationship base into a stronger growth platform across the sector.
