Chedi Hospitality has appointed Milos Nedovic as Chief Asset and Investment Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the Dubai-headquartered luxury hospitality group expands its investment and asset management capabilities.

In his new role, Nedovic will lead investment strategy and asset management across Chedi Hospitality’s growing portfolio. His remit will include driving financial performance, supporting sustainable growth, strengthening long-term value creation and contributing to the company’s evolution into a more fully integrated hospitality platform.

The appointment places Nedovic at the centre of Chedi Hospitality’s next phase of growth, where capital discipline, asset performance and investor alignment are becoming increasingly important. As luxury hospitality groups expand across hotels, residences and mixed-use developments, the ability to connect brand vision with financial governance has become a critical leadership requirement.

Nedovic brings more than 15 years of experience in finance and asset management within the luxury hospitality sector. His career spans operating and pre-opening environments across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, giving him exposure to both established properties and development-stage projects. He has previously held finance leadership roles with Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Rikas Hospitality Group.

That background is relevant to the new mandate. Chedi Hospitality is pursuing selective growth across established and emerging destinations, with a pipeline that includes hotels and residences across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and island resort markets. The group’s development pipeline includes projects such as Chedi Wadi Safar, Chedi Trojena, Chedi Ras Al Hadd, Chedi Niseko, Chedi Kan’baashaa and private residence projects in Dubai, among others.

In this context, the Chief Asset and Investment Officer role is not simply a finance appointment. It sits at the intersection of development strategy, owner returns, operational performance and brand-led value creation. Nedovic will oversee capital allocation and revenue optimisation across managed properties, while also identifying strategic investment opportunities for owners, investors and development partners.

He will also support the expansion of Chedi Hospitality’s asset management services, including the optimisation of third-party property performance and the enhancement of returns for owners and investors. This is an increasingly important capability for hospitality groups seeking to move beyond traditional hotel management and offer a broader suite of services to capital partners.

The appointment also reflects the wider shift in luxury hospitality towards integrated platforms. Hotel groups are no longer judged only by their ability to operate distinctive properties. They are also expected to help owners make stronger decisions around capital investment, positioning, revenue strategy, lifecycle planning and asset performance. For design-led and lifestyle-oriented hospitality brands, the challenge is to protect individuality while still delivering measurable financial outcomes.

Chedi Hospitality’s own portfolio strategy is rooted in selective, destination-led growth. The company describes its expansion approach as focused on places where culture, nature and imagination converge, with developments chosen for their sense of place and long-term relevance. Its current portfolio includes Chedi Hegra in Saudi Arabia, Chedi Katara in Doha, Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah, Chedi El Gouna in Egypt and Chedi Luštica Bay in Montenegro.

Earlier this year, Chedi Hospitality also announced a strategic partnership with JIH Global Investments to enter the Maldives with a boutique hotel and branded residences. That project reflects the group’s interest in combining hospitality, real estate and residential components in high-value destinations, a model that requires strong coordination between development, investment, operations and brand experience.

Nedovic will also support the integration of emerging technologies designed to improve operational efficiency and guest experience across the portfolio. For hospitality asset leaders, technology is becoming increasingly tied to performance, particularly in areas such as revenue optimisation, cost control, energy management, guest personalisation and operational reporting.

Stephan Schupbach, President and Group CEO of Chedi Hospitality, said the company is pleased to welcome Nedovic at a pivotal moment in its journey. He noted that as Chedi Hospitality continues to grow, Nedovic’s financial expertise and commercial acumen will play an important role in strengthening the company’s capabilities and supporting long-term value creation.

Commenting on his appointment, Nedovic said Chedi Hospitality is built on a strong legacy and a clear vision for the future. He said he looks forward to working closely with the team to strengthen performance, unlock new opportunities and build strong partnerships across the portfolio.

The move signals Chedi Hospitality’s intention to build deeper investment and asset management capability as it expands. For owners and development partners, the appointment adds senior leadership focused on value creation, performance optimisation and disciplined growth.

For Nedovic, the role brings together finance, investment oversight and asset management within a luxury hospitality platform that is moving into a broader phase of development. His appointment suggests that Chedi Hospitality’s next chapter will be shaped not only by distinctive destinations and design-led hospitality, but also by stronger capital strategy and asset performance discipline.
