Dreamscape Hospitality has promoted Adam Patenaude to president and chief executive officer, extending his leadership of the US hotel management company.

The appointment was announced on 13 October after around two and a half years in the president role.

Leading the next phase of growth

Patenaude joined the company in May 2024 and led its launch. Dreamscape expects its portfolio to exceed 40 hotels by the end of its second full year of hotel operations, spanning 13 major brands as well as independent and boutique properties.

The portfolio includes hotels affiliated with Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt and IHG.

The company’s corporate support centre in McKinney, Texas, will remain the base for its growing leadership and operations team.

Adam Patenaude’s operating background

Patenaude arrived at Dreamscape after 15 years at Aimbridge Hospitality, where he most recently served as senior vice president of operations. His background spans extended-stay, select-service and full-service hotels, alongside luxury, resort and independent properties. His original appointment placed him in charge of day-to-day operations and the executive team.

That experience is relevant to a management portfolio covering different brands and operating formats. Properties listed by Dreamscape include The Georgian in Santa Monica, Hotel Solaya in Scottsdale, Hyatt Regency Houston West and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milwaukee-West Allis.

Supporting a broader hotel portfolio

The company’s operating platform combines financial management and property upkeep with employee training and retention. Its corporate services also cover sales and revenue strategy, digital distribution, food-and-beverage programming and purchasing. These functions give the growing support team a role in both commercial performance and the consistency of hotel operations.

For owners and hotel teams, the promotion provides continuity as the business adds properties. The next test is how effectively its central support functions can serve a larger, more varied portfolio.
