Nina Kohler has been appointed chief executive officer of hospitality at Kohler Co., taking responsibility for strategy, growth, talent and the guest experience. The company announced the appointment on 13 October 2026, saying it takes effect immediately.

Her remit covers destinations in Kohler and Green Bay in Wisconsin, Chicago and St Andrews in Scotland. She moves into the role after four years advising Kohler Hospitality on its strategy, design, brand positioning and guest experience.

Nina Kohler takes on a wider leadership brief

Working with the hospitality leadership team, Nina Kohler will oversee the portfolio’s performance and continuing investment programme. Planned additions include 66 rooms and suites at the Inn on Woodlake, the Bucks & Birdies entertainment venue and the 14-hole Purebred Farm golf course.

Building a year-round destination

The appointment follows the opening of The Serve, a racquet-sports facility in Kohler. In its September announcement, the company described six indoor pickleball courts, two heated outdoor platform tennis courts and a social lounge, with programmes spanning lessons, leagues, corporate outings and retreats.

That announcement identified Nina Kohler as the company’s strategy and design leader. She connected the development to a broader ambition for wellness experiences that bring visitors and local residents together.

The wider hospitality portfolio includes The American Club, Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run in Wisconsin, LODGE KOHLER in Green Bay and the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews.

A developing leadership team

Kohler Hospitality also appointed Sara Harper as head of marketing in April 2026. Her brief covers marketing across the same destinations, including brand storytelling and year-round guest engagement. Harper joined from Peregrine Hospitality and previously held a senior marketing role at Hotel del Coronado.
