Deeppreet Bindra has been appointed Director of ibis and ibis Styles India, taking responsibility for the two Accor brands’ strategic direction and operating performance across the country.

The appointment was reported by Travel Trade Journal on 14 October 2026. His brief covers growing the portfolio, improving commercial results and guest experience, and developing hotel teams. He will work with hotels and partners in both established and emerging markets.

Deeppreet Bindra brings service-sector experience

Bindra brings more than two decades of experience across hospitality and other service businesses. His career has included American Express, Kingfisher Airlines, The Oberoi Group and Marriott International, combining customer-facing experience with hotel operations and commercial leadership.

Before the move to Accor, he led The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace as General Manager. The hotel’s official announcement of that earlier appointment also records experience at JW Marriott Aerocity, Bengaluru Marriott Whitefield and Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad.

A portfolio-wide leadership role

The new role brings together responsibility for business performance, service delivery and people development across ibis and ibis Styles in India. In the appointment report, Bindra identified consistent guest experiences and close collaboration with teams and partners as priorities for the brands’ next phase.

Vineet Mishra, Vice President, PME, Accor India and South Asia, welcomed the appointment, citing Bindra’s combination of operational, commercial and people-leadership experience.

The move comes alongside continued activity in Accor’s Indian portfolio. WINC Wire recently reported on the opening of Novotel Bhopal. Further leadership moves can be found in our Appointments coverage.
