Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Celine Du as Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, effective 1 November 2025. With more than 30 years’ experience across luxury hospitality brands, Du brings expertise in revenue growth, brand strategy and commercial leadership to the Singapore-based group.
Du joins Pan Pacific Hotels Group at a pivotal time, following the recent rebranding of the group’s three core brands – Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL COLLECTION and PARKROYAL. Her appointment reflects the group’s renewed focus on integrated commercial excellence as it strengthens its global footprint.
In her new role, Du will oversee commercial strategy and performance across both corporate and property levels within the group’s portfolio of more than 50 hotels, resorts and serviced suites spanning Asia Pacific, North America, Africa and Europe. Her responsibilities include maximising revenue generation, driving channel management, enhancing loyalty programmes and expanding global partnerships to deepen customer engagement.
Before joining Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Du held senior leadership positions at two of Asia’s most prestigious luxury hotel brands. She joined Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2015 as Vice President Sales & Marketing, Greater China, before being promoted to Vice President Regional Sales, Asia Pacific. In 2022, she was appointed Vice President Global Industry Partners, responsible for the group’s global corporate and key account revenue.
Prior to Mandarin Oriental, Du spent time with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, where she held various director-level sales and marketing positions across the group’s Chinese properties. Her experience at both organisations involved leading global commercial and marketing initiatives that elevated brand presence, strengthened market share and delivered sustainable revenue growth across China and international markets. Earlier in her career, she also held roles with IHG.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group CEO Choe Peng Sum said Du’s data-driven approach and ability to unite global teams would be instrumental as the group expands its international footprint. He emphasised that her leadership would support a culture of performance, collaboration and innovation, aligning with the group’s commitment to talent development.
Du expressed enthusiasm about joining the group during its growth phase. She noted that Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s heritage and commitment to innovation provide strong foundations for commercial advancement, particularly in deepening guest loyalty and strengthening the group’s presence in strategic markets.
The appointment comes as Pan Pacific Hotels Group continues its strategic expansion. The group recently opened Pan Pacific Dalian in November 2025, marking its seventh hotel in China and first in the coastal city. The group has also announced plans for PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Manila Bay, targeted to open in the first half of 2027.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group, headquartered in Singapore, is a member of Singapore-listed UOL Group Limited. The group has been voted “Best Regional Hotel Chain” by readers in Asia from 2017 to 2021, reflecting consistent recognition for excellence in product and service delivery.
The group’s three brands serve distinct market segments. Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts delivers graceful service with a passion for excellence, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Hotels & Resorts focuses on biophilic design and sustainability, whilst PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts emphasises authentic local experiences and cultural connections.
Pan Pacific DISCOVERY, the group’s loyalty programme, is a member of the Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotels with 40 brands and more than 800 hotels worldwide. The programme offers DISCOVERY Dollars as a digital rewards currency, providing exclusive discounts on accommodation, dining and experiences across the group’s properties.
Notable recent achievements include Pan Pacific Orchard receiving the World Selection title by UNESCO’s Prix Versailles in 2024, making it the only Singapore hotel with this recognition for architecture and design. Pan Pacific London has been named Forbes Five-Star by Forbes Travel Guide for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024.
Du’s appointment strengthens Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s leadership team as the organisation advances its Version 2.0 strategy, focusing on portfolio enhancement, digital capabilities development and meeting the evolving demands of modern travellers across its global properties.
