HighRadius has promoted Preeti Taunk to Director, People & Culture, advancing her leadership role within the fintech unicorn’s human resources function.
Taunk joined HighRadius in October 2023 as Associate Director, People & Culture, bringing over a decade of HR experience across manufacturing, e-commerce, and technology sectors. Her promotion reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its people operations as it scales globally.
Before joining HighRadius, Taunk spent nearly two years at Snapdeal, India’s leading e-commerce platform. She initially joined as Manager, HR Business Partner in March 2021, advancing to Senior Manager within 12 months. At Snapdeal, she partnered with business leaders to optimise talent strategies and drive employee engagement initiatives.
Taunk’s most substantial experience came from over seven years with Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, Swaraj Division. She joined as Deputy Manager, Human Resources in May 2013, progressively advancing to HR Manager, Grade 1 in August 2016, and HR Manager, Grade 2 in August 2019. This tenure provided her with deep expertise in manufacturing HR operations, workforce planning, and organisational development.
Her career began with roles at Oceans Connect (I) as Adviser/QA from August 2010 to January 2012, followed by a brief stint at Selection Search as HR Executive in early 2012.
Taunk holds a postgraduate degree in HR Leadership from the School of Inspired Leadership and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Amity University. This combination of technical education and specialised HR training positions her to navigate the complex people challenges facing fast-growing technology companies.
HighRadius operates as a fintech enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that leverages artificial intelligence to automate accounts receivable and treasury processes for the Office of the CFO. The company achieved unicorn status in January 2020 with a $125 million Series B funding round led by ICONIQ Capital. Its valuation subsequently tripled to $3.1 billion following a $300 million Series C round in March 2021, led by Tiger Global Management and D1 Capital Partners.
The Houston and Hyderabad-based company serves more than 850 leading organisations worldwide, including over 200 Forbes Global 2000 companies. HighRadius has been recognised on the Forbes Cloud 100 list for five consecutive years, most recently in 2024, affirming its position amongst the world’s top private cloud companies.
HighRadius currently employs between 1,001 and 5,000 people across its global operations. The company has expanded significantly in Europe, adding offices in Frankfurt and Amsterdam, whilst growing its Europe-based client-facing headcount by 81 per cent year-over-year in recent periods.
The company’s leadership in people and culture remains anchored by Stella Tran, Vice President, People and Culture, who oversees the global HR function. Tran, who joined HighRadius in 2018, leads with a “people-first” mentality focused on hiring, retaining, and developing talent during periods of rapid growth.
Taunk’s promotion aligns with HighRadius’s strategic focus on scaling its workforce whilst maintaining organisational culture. The company has received recognition not only for its technology innovations but also for its people practices, which constitute 15 per cent of the scoring criteria for its Forbes Cloud 100 recognition.
As Director, People & Culture, Taunk will play a critical role in supporting HighRadius’s expansion initiatives, which include developing autonomous finance platforms and extending its geographic reach across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America.
