Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée opens with 250 rooms near Disneyland Paris
IHG has opened the 250-room Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée near Disneyland Paris, with 1,500 sq m of event space, spa, dining and leisure facilities.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened a new 250-room Crowne Plaza in Magny-le-Hongre, combining resort-style leisure facilities with 1,500 sq m of meetings and events space near Disneyland Paris.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its premium portfolio in France with the opening of Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée, a 250-room hotel set within 2.5 hectares of landscaped grounds in Magny-le-Hongre.
The property sits opposite Golf Paris Val d’Europe and is around seven minutes from Disneyland Paris by complimentary shuttle, while central Paris is approximately 40 minutes away.
The opening gives Crowne Plaza a property capable of serving several distinct demand segments at the same time, from families visiting the region’s leisure attractions to corporate groups looking for a resort-style setting outside central Paris.
Most of the hotel’s 250 rooms and suites overlook Golf Paris Val d’Europe and its three nine-hole courses. Sustainability measures introduced during the renovation include recycled materials in headboards and carpets, alongside technologies intended to reduce the property’s environmental impact.
A hotel built around blended travel
Crowne Plaza has increasingly positioned itself around what IHG describes as blended travel, where business, leisure and social activity are no longer treated as entirely separate reasons for staying at a hotel.
That proposition is particularly visible at Marne-la-Vallée.
The hotel combines large-scale meetings infrastructure with wellness, dining and outdoor facilities, allowing corporate groups to use the property without creating an experience that feels entirely business-led.
For leisure guests, the location provides access to Disneyland Paris, La Vallée Village and the wider Marne-la-Vallée area, while the landscaped grounds create a more resort-like environment than would typically be associated with a Paris hotel.
1,500 sq m dedicated to meetings and events
The property includes 1,500 sq m of flexible event space, spread across 14 meeting rooms, with capacity for up to 400 delegates.
That gives Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée the ability to target conferences, corporate retreats, private events and celebrations alongside its leisure business.
The scale of the meetings offer is significant because Marne-la-Vallée already benefits from strong international connectivity and substantial leisure footfall. Combining that demand with dedicated conference space gives the hotel a broader commercial base than a property focused exclusively on theme park visitors.
Three dining concepts
The hotel has launched with three food and beverage venues.
La Clairière serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, while L’Orangerie overlooks the terrace and gardens and is used for breakfast as well as private events.
Mystic Bar provides a more informal all-day setting for food and drinks.
The dining offer forms part of an attempt to encourage guests to spend more time within the property rather than treating the hotel simply as accommodation for nearby attractions.
Wellness and leisure continue to expand
Facilities currently include a heated indoor swimming pool, spa, indoor gym and dedicated yoga and Pilates space, along with walking routes and bicycle hire.
The leisure offer is also still developing.
Padel courts, an outdoor gym, pétanque facilities and cinema experiences are expected to be introduced before the end of 2026, while an outdoor swimming pool and summer bar are planned for spring 2027.
That continued investment reinforces the property’s positioning as a destination hotel rather than a conventional suburban business property.
Francelina Ferreira do Amaral, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée, said the ambition was to create a place where guests could combine the region’s attractions with opportunities to slow down and recharge.
Part of a wider Crowne Plaza expansion
The opening takes Crowne Plaza’s European network to 96 operating hotels with more than 20,400 rooms.
IHG also has another 21 Crowne Plaza properties representing more than 4,300 rooms in the European pipeline.
The project was originally announced in 2025 as a conversion of an existing Magny-le-Hongre hotel. IHG partnered with Proark, with the property undergoing renovation before moving into the Crowne Plaza portfolio in the second half of 2026.
That conversion strategy is becoming increasingly important for international hotel groups seeking to grow established brands in mature European markets.
Rather than relying entirely on new-build developments, existing hotels can be repositioned through renovation, new branding and access to larger distribution and loyalty platforms.
Crowne Plaza Paris Marne-la-Vallée demonstrates that model particularly clearly.
The hotel already benefits from one of Europe’s strongest leisure destinations on its doorstep. IHG has added a premium brand, a significant meetings proposition and an expanding wellness and leisure offer to create a property that can target business groups, families, couples and short-break travellers from the same location.
For Crowne Plaza, it is a useful example of how the brand is moving beyond the traditional city-centre corporate hotel.
