Hilton to open first Valencia hotel in El Cabanyal this December
Hilton will return to Valencia with the 84-room Cuber House Valencia, Curio Collection by Hilton, bringing a rooftop pool and lifestyle hospitality to El Cabanyal.

Cuber House Valencia, Curio Collection by Hilton is expected to open in El Cabanyal in December 2026, marking Hilton’s return to the Spanish coastal city after more than a decade.
Hilton is preparing to return to Valencia with Cuber House Valencia, Curio Collection by Hilton, an 84-room lifestyle hotel in the city’s El Cabanyal district.
Hilton currently lists the property for an anticipated December 2026 opening, making it the group’s first hotel in Valencia under its present portfolio.
The hotel is located on Calle Mariano Cuber, close to Las Arenas Beach and La Marina, placing it within one of Valencia’s most distinctive coastal neighbourhoods.
El Cabanyal has evolved significantly in recent years, but its maritime heritage remains central to its identity. Cuber House is designed around that context, combining contemporary interiors with references to the area’s connection to the sea.
The property will comprise 84 rooms across four floors and will operate under Curio Collection by Hilton, the group’s collection of individually styled hotels intended to retain a strong connection to their location.
Dining and rooftop spaces
Food, drink and social spaces will form an important part of the hotel.
Plans include La Naviera, the property’s restaurant, together with Ankor Lounge Club and a rooftop bar and swimming pool. Hilton also lists two restaurants at the property, alongside a 24-hour fitness centre and meeting facilities.
The hotel’s positioning is intended to appeal to guests looking for a more lifestyle-led stay rather than a conventional full-service city hotel.
Its location gives guests access to the beachfront and marina while remaining within reach of central Valencia and major attractions including the City of Arts and Sciences.
From Tapestry to Curio Collection
The project has evolved since it was first announced.
Hilton originally signed the hotel in 2023 under Tapestry Collection by Hilton, through a franchise agreement with Alta Hospitality SL. At the time, the hotel was scheduled to open in 2024.
The property has since shifted to Curio Collection by Hilton and its opening timetable has moved.
That repositioning gives the hotel a different place within Hilton’s lifestyle portfolio, while retaining the independent character and local emphasis associated with its Collection brands.
A return to Valencia
The opening also has broader significance for Hilton.
The group previously operated in Valencia more than a decade ago, before its former property in the city was converted to another brand. Cuber House therefore represents a return to a market that has seen substantial hotel investment and tourism growth since Hilton last had a presence there.
Valencia has become increasingly attractive to international hotel groups, helped by its Mediterranean location, growing leisure profile, food culture and mix of urban and beach demand.
For Hilton, El Cabanyal offers a particularly strong fit for Curio Collection.
Rather than entering the city with a large conventional hotel, the group is returning through a smaller lifestyle property built around neighbourhood identity, dining and social spaces.
There is, however, one point worth noting around the opening date.
Hilton’s latest corporate announcement lists December 2026 as the anticipated opening date. Its current booking page, however, is accepting reservations only from 15 April 2027 onwards.
That suggests the operational timetable may still be evolving.
Whenever Cuber House begins welcoming guests, the hotel will mark a significant return for Hilton to Valencia and add another internationally branded lifestyle property to one of Spain’s fastest-evolving hospitality markets.
