Marc Sittl joins Pan Pacific in operations role
Pan Pacific Hotels Group gains Marc Sittl as vice president, operations and pre-opening, following his personal announcement of the move.

Marc Sittl has announced that he is starting a new position as vice president, operations and pre-opening at Pan Pacific Hotels Group. He shared the move on LinkedIn on 28 October 2026.
His announcement confirms the company and role but does not provide a separate effective date, reporting line or geographical remit.
Marc Sittl takes an operations and pre-opening position
The appointment brings together two connected areas of hotel leadership: the running of established operations and the preparation of properties before they welcome guests. Sittl’s published title includes both, although the announcement does not identify individual hotels or projects within his responsibility.
Experience across hotel operations and openings
Sittl’s career includes leadership roles in Thailand and the Middle East, alongside experience in European luxury hotels. A 2016 appointment report from Travel Daily News Asia recorded his move to Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya after two years as general manager of Lebua at State Tower and Tower Club at Lebua in Bangkok.
That report also identified hotel manager positions at Sofitel The Palm Dubai and The Savoy in London, with experience of pre-opening and refurbishment teams. Earlier career properties included Beau Rivage in Lausanne and the Palace Hotel in Gstaad.
More recently, the TO THE TABLE Asia event organiser identified him in its testimonials as senior vice president, operations MEAP, at Standard Hotels. These published records establish experience beyond a single property or hotel segment, without requiring assumptions about the precise dates of his departure from previous employers.
Pan Pacific’s three-brand operating platform
According to its official company profile, Pan Pacific Hotels Group owns or manages more than 50 hotels, resorts and serviced suites across more than 30 cities. Headquartered in Singapore, it is part of Singapore-listed UOL Group.
The portfolio operates under Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL COLLECTION and PARKROYAL, with a presence across Asia Pacific, Africa, North America and Europe. The group’s own description differentiates the brands through service, sustainability and connections to local places.
Its corporate framework also identifies people development, effective processes and a positive working culture as priorities. These provide context for the operating environment into which Sittl is moving, rather than a statement of his individual targets.
Bringing opening experience into group operations
For hospitality employers, the relevant point is the combination of established-hotel leadership and opening experience in Sittl’s background. Preparing a hotel for launch and sustaining its operation require different stages of team coordination, and his new title spans both disciplines.
Further details will be needed before assessing the specific projects attached to the appointment. Related WINC Wire coverage includes Albin Chavy’s move into operational planning at Rosewood and Tan Wee Hsien’s appointment at Frasers Property Singapore.
