Andrew Ling leads Hilton’s focused service brands in Asia Pacific
Andrew Ling oversees Hilton’s focused service and all-suites brands in Asia Pacific, spanning five brands and a growing regional development pipeline.

Andrew Ling is leading Hilton’s focused service and all-suites brands across Asia Pacific, with responsibility for brand strategy, growth, stewardship and performance. The Singapore-based executive’s remit covers Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton, Tru by Hilton, Spark by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton.
His role has featured in a fresh round of appointment reports this month. However, Hilton’s own release dated 21 April 2026 already identified him as regional head, focused service and all-suites brands, Asia Pacific. The available sources therefore confirm the position, but do not establish a new October start date.
Andrew Ling’s Hilton brand leadership remit
Ling brings more than seven years of experience with Hilton. He previously served as senior director of lifestyle brands, with the latest reporting describing a move into leadership of the group’s focused service and all-suites portfolio.
The CXO Lanes APAC announcement also identifies experience at McKinsey & Company, where he worked as a senior engagement manager, and earlier roles at General Mills. That background spans brand strategy, business growth and innovation.
For hotel owners and operators, the remit brings several distinct brands under a regional leadership brief covering both expansion and brand performance. Its relevance extends beyond new signings to how individual brands retain a consistent proposition as they enter more markets.
India expansion provides a practical backdrop
Hilton’s focused service growth in India illustrates the scale of the opportunity. In April, the group and Olive Hospitality announced their first ten Spark by Hilton signings under an agreement targeting 150 franchised hotels in the country.
Those initial locations span Bengaluru, Goa, Jaipur, Nashik, Mathura, Pune, Rajkot and Hyderabad. Hilton’s announcement described a strategy to reach business and leisure corridors beyond the largest metropolitan markets, supported by demand for branded accommodation at accessible price points.
In the same announcement, Ling emphasised the importance of maintaining Spark’s core offering while adapting it to local preferences. That balance between consistency and local relevance is a central issue for regional brand teams overseeing expansion.
A wider regional leadership update
The October reports also name Alex Shockley as senior director, lifestyle and collection brands, Asia Pacific. His portfolio includes Canopy by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Tempo by Hilton and Motto by Hilton.
Travel Weekly’s report describes the two appointments as part of Hilton’s regional brand leadership plans. For Ling, the focus is the growth and performance of the focused service and all-suites brands already within his confirmed remit.
