Antoine Gizardin joins Accor in regional commercial role
Antoine Gizardin joins Accor as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and North Africa, bringing more than 30 years in consumer goods and luxury beauty.

Antoine Gizardin has joined Accor as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and North Africa, covering the group’s Premium, Midscale and Economy brands. The appointment brings an executive with more than three decades in consumer goods and luxury beauty into hospitality.
Gizardin announced the move in a LinkedIn post, following a career at Procter & Gamble and The Estée Lauder Companies.
Antoine Gizardin’s commercial remit
In his professional profile, Gizardin describes a brief spanning revenue growth, brand equity and commercial performance across more than 3,000 Accor hotels in Europe and North Africa. He identifies hotel teams, owners and franchise partners as central to that work.
His background includes responsibility for market and regional businesses across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. He also highlights experience in multi-brand portfolios, distribution partnerships, digital and omnichannel growth, and the development of multicultural teams.
From consumer brands to hotels
The move gives Accor a commercial leader whose career has crossed mass-market consumer products and prestige beauty. An Estée Lauder Companies announcement from 2018 identified Gizardin as Vice-President Western Europe, EMEA, providing a record of his earlier regional leadership responsibilities.
Introducing his new position, Gizardin placed emphasis on business performance, brand development and guest experience. He also stressed the importance of creating conditions in which employees and commercial partners can succeed.
Getting to know Accor’s operations
His first weeks have included visits to hotels in London and Munich, where he met general managers and employees across departments. He has also spent time with regional and global teams in Paris. Those visits formed part of his introduction to the group’s operations and culture.
Accor’s Premium, Midscale and Economy division includes Pullman, Mövenpick, Swissôtel, Mercure, Novotel and ibis. The group’s 2025 Universal Registration Document sets out its priorities around brand development, key markets and the efficiency of its growth model.
