Ennismore and Cactus Group have signed an agreement for Mondrian Bodrum, a 108-key adults-only resort that will introduce the Mondrian brand to Turkey.

The agreement is detailed in Turizm Proje Dergisi’s announcement coverage. No opening date or investment value was stated in the materials reviewed.

The project will reposition an existing resort overlooking the Aegean Sea. Plans combine rooms, suites and villas with five dining and nightlife venues, a beach club, a private pier and wellness facilities.

Dining brands at Mondrian Bodrum

Among the proposed venues is Mimi Kakushi, the Japanese dining concept known for its Dubai restaurant. The Bodrum venue is planned across two floors, with interiors by Pirajean Lees, a sushi counter and a cocktail bar.

Kyma Beach Club will offer Greek-inspired dining. SIPS, House of Ruins and Aloha Bakery complete the announced line-up, giving the resort a mix of late-night drinks, all-day hospitality and bakery service.

Turizm Aktüel’s announcement coverage identifies AIME Studios, Ennismore’s in-house design team, as responsible for the property’s redesign. Planned leisure facilities include a sea-facing pool, sun terraces and water sports.

An adults-only resort conversion

The wellness component is expected to occupy about 400 square metres, with treatment rooms, a traditional hammam, sauna, gym and exercise studio. These facilities will sit alongside the restaurants and social spaces rather than operate as a separate retreat.

According to Turizm Proje Dergisi’s report, hospitality adviser Servotel brought Cactus Group, Ennismore and the partners behind Mimi Kakushi and Kyma together for the project.

A restaurant-led resort proposition

The planned conversion adds another international lifestyle brand to Bodrum’s hotel market. Its restaurant-led approach is particularly relevant to operators looking to build a destination beyond overnight accommodation.

The agreement is a development milestone, rather than confirmation that the resort is open. An opening timetable remains to be announced.
