DHL Express has appointed Anu Daga as Vice President – Human Resources for its UK operations, effective January 2026. Based in London, she will lead the people and culture function for DHL Express UK, with responsibility for talent planning, leadership development, employee experience and people practices that support the company’s business growth strategy.
Daga brings more than 20 years of global HR experience spanning Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Her appointment marks a return to DHL Express after several years leading HR operations for DHL Global Forwarding’s shared services division.
Daga joined DHL in 2005, beginning her career in recruitment and talent acquisition roles. She progressed through increasingly senior positions across the organisation, building expertise in organisational development, performance management and employee engagement.
Her career with DHL has included substantial international experience. She served as HR Operations Manager for DHL Express UAE from 2008 to 2013, followed by a promotion to Senior Director HR for the UAE market, a position she held until 2018. During this period, she headed the human resources function for DHL Express UAE, supporting business growth and building performance-driven workplace culture across the region.
From 2018 to 2020, Daga served as Head of Organisational Development for DHL’s Middle East and North Africa region, where she worked with leadership teams on talent development and strategic HR initiatives. Most recently, she held the position of Global Vice President – HR for DHL Global Forwarding’s Global Shared Services division, based in Mumbai. In this role, she led HR operations for more than 4,500 employees across six global service centres, driving employee engagement initiatives that achieved a 98% response rate in the company’s annual employee opinion survey.
Daga holds a Master of Business Administration from Murdoch University Dubai, completed in 2012. She also studied at the University of Wollongong in Dubai. Her qualifications complement extensive practical experience in talent management, employee relations, change management and HR policy development.
DHL Express UK is headquartered at the Southern Hub near Heathrow Airport, a facility that represents a significant investment in the company’s UK operations. The 150,000-square-foot hub, which opened as part of a £65 million investment, processes shipments for the southeast of England and houses more than 750 employees. The facility operates around the clock with capacity to handle 28,000 items per hour.
The UK operation forms part of DHL Express’s broader European network, which employs approximately 45,000 people across more than 60 countries and territories. DHL Group as a whole employs around 600,000 people in over 220 countries and territories worldwide.
