Château de Sacy names Jean-Charles Haenggi general manager
Jean-Charles Haenggi has taken over as general manager of Château de Sacy, with Muriel Secondé-Naivin continuing as maître de maison following the hotel's takeover earlier in 2026.

Château de Sacy has appointed Jean-Charles Haenggi as general manager, effective from September 2026. He joins the five-star property in France’s Champagne region from Mont Cervin Palace in Zermatt, Switzerland.
Haenggi will work alongside Muriel Secondé-Naivin, who continues as maître de maison. The appointment brings a new general manager to the Montagne de Reims hotel while retaining an established member of its leadership team.
Jean-Charles Haenggi’s international hotel career
Haenggi had been hotel manager at Mont Cervin Palace since June 2025, following earlier rooms division leadership roles at the property. His experience covers hotel operations, guest services and front office management across France, Switzerland and Mexico.
He spent nearly five years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, working at the George V in Paris, in Megève and in Los Cabos. At the Mexican resort, he led the front office opening. His earlier career also includes Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, Grand Hôtel du Lac in Vevey and LeCrans Hôtel & Spa in Crans-Montana.
The leadership arrangement at Château de Sacy combines responsibility for the hotel’s strategy and development with continuity in the maître de maison role. The property’s plans encompass accommodation, champagne, dining, wellbeing and private and corporate events.
Leadership continuity after the takeover
The appointment follows Château de Sacy’s takeover by a structure backed by the Michel Reybier group earlier in 2026. Both the Champagne property and Mont Cervin Palace sit within the group’s hospitality portfolio.
According to judicial administrator AJILINK, the Bordeaux commercial court approved the transfer to SCI Sacy Courcelles on 18 March 2026. The takeover maintained all 41 employees, placing workforce continuity alongside the property’s development plans.
Château de Sacy has 12 rooms and suites, a restaurant and a spa. Haenggi’s arrival adds international operating experience to the management of this small luxury hotel, with Secondé-Naivin remaining in post as maître de maison.
