Regal Hotels International appoints Wesley Ling as Vice President Human Resources

The former FundPark HR Director returns to hotels to lead human resources at one of Hong Kong's largest hotel operators.

Regal Hotels International has appointed Wesley Ling as Vice President Human Resources. Ling announced the appointment on LinkedIn; his profile shows that he has also taken on the role of General Manager, Group Human Resources at Century City Holdings Limited, both based in Hong Kong from September 2026.

Wesley Ling’s role at Regal

In the role, Ling leads human resources for the Hong Kong based hotel group, whose portfolio spans the Regal, Regala and iclub brands.

Career background

Ling joins from FundPark, where he was Human Resources Director from June 2022. Before that he spent three years as Director of Talent and Culture at Carlyle & Co. in Hong Kong.

His hotel career began at Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin, where he joined as a Corporate Leadership Trainee in 2012 and moved through food and beverage into learning and development. He went on to learning and development roles at Ovolo Hotels and Marco Polo Hotels in Hong Kong, rising to Assistant Director of Human Resources at Marco Polo in 2018. Earlier trainee placements included The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and Grand Ambassador Seoul associated with Pullman.
