The Anantara Grand Tour of Europe starts with the Dolce Vita Tour, a Rome-to-Amalfi Coast drive in Alfa Romeo models, with four more routes planned for 2027.

Anantara Hotels & Resorts, the luxury flagship brand of Minor Hotels, has partnered with Alfa Romeo to launch the Anantara Grand Tour of Europe, a series of driving journeys inspired by the 18th-century Grand Tour.

Guests travel between Anantara hotels in Alfa Romeo models ranging from the classic mid-century Giulietta to the Giulia sports sedan and the Stelvio SUV, including the high-performance Quadrifoglio versions of both.

The two brands first worked together at Anantara Concorso Roma 2026, a historic-car showcase in Rome.

The Dolce Vita Tour: Rome to the Amalfi Coast

The first itinerary launched in September 2026 and can be booked now. The Dolce Vita Tour starts at Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel and runs through the hills of the Castelli Romani and along the coast at Sperlonga.

From there the route climbs to Ravello before descending to the Amalfi Coast, where it ends at Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel.

Stops along the way include seaside lunches, tastings at family-run vineyards and golden-hour walks in Positano.

Four more Anantara Grand Tour of Europe routes in 2027

Anantara plans to extend the programme in 2027 with routes covering the French Riviera, Málaga to Marbella, Dublin to Amsterdam and The Imperial Capitals Tour.

The Imperial Capitals Tour will run between Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel and Anantara New York Palace Budapest, with stops focused on music, art and gastronomy.

Guests can book the full Grand Tour or a single itinerary, with optional connecting flights between Anantara properties.

“As our European footprint grows, so too does our ability to craft journeys with depth and authenticity,” said Giles Selves, SVP Minor Luxury Hotels Europe & Americas.

Eugenio Franzetti, Alfa Romeo’s Head of Global Marketing, said the collaboration brings the brand’s values “across some of Europe’s most inspiring roads”.

What multi-hotel journeys ask of hotel teams

Products like this stretch the guest experience beyond a single property. A driving itinerary that links several hotels depends on smooth handovers between teams, with concierge, guest relations and food and beverage staff at each stop working from a shared picture of the guest and the route.

For HR and operations leaders, it is another sign that cross-property coordination, local destination knowledge and partner management are becoming core skills in luxury hotel teams, as brands compete on curated experiences rather than rooms alone.

Why it matters for Anantara in Europe

The partnership turns Anantara’s growing European footprint into a single bookable product. Rome, Amalfi, Vienna and Budapest are all existing Anantara addresses, and the Grand Tour gives guests a reason to stay at more than one of them in a single trip.
