Why the appointment matters
Hontheim brings a mix of resort, city hotel and food and beverage leadership across Greater China and Southeast Asia to a region that spans some of Asia’s busiest gateway and leisure markets. His return also adds to recent leadership moves at Marriott in the region, including the appointment of Ming Choo Ling as CHRO for Asia Pacific excluding China.
