Hilton has signed agreements with Kalyani Group for two Bengaluru airport hotels, adding 600 rooms to its development pipeline. Both properties are expected to open in 2030.

The company announced the signing in Bengaluru on 6 October 2026.

Bengaluru airport hotels planned for 2030

  • Conrad Bengaluru Airport: 300 rooms under the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand.
  • Hilton Bengaluru Airport: 300 rooms under Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

The shared complex is planned for KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park, approximately 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport. Facilities will include dining, wellness and meeting spaces, with more than 72,000 square feet allocated to events.

What the partners said

Alan Watts, Hilton’s president for Asia Pacific, said: “Bengaluru will remain a key focus for expansion.”

Mohan Raju, managing director of Kalyani Developers, described the agreement as a continuation of the partnership behind DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield, which opened in 2024.

An airport corridor already attracting hotel investment

Hilton’s airport-area expansion has also produced an opening this year. On 2 February 2026, the company announced DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, a 304-room property developed with Dangayach Group.

That hotel, situated within the Aerospace Park, was described at opening as India’s largest DoubleTree. Hilton positioned it for corporate travellers, aviation-related business and transit stays, with three dining venues, meeting facilities and leisure amenities.

The operating DoubleTree and the newly signed Conrad and Hilton development involve different partners. Keeping those projects separate is important when assessing how much accommodation is available today and how much remains in the pipeline.

What hospitality teams should watch

For hotel operators and HR leaders, a development combining two brands and substantial event facilities raises practical planning questions: how leadership responsibilities will be divided, which functions might be shared, and how teams will be trained for different service expectations. These are considerations for the pre-opening period, rather than confirmed arrangements for this project.

Hilton’s announcement gives no recruitment timetable, staffing totals or named hotel leadership team. The 2030 date remains an expected opening year; there is no specific opening month.

The development also sits alongside wider changes in Hilton’s Indian portfolio. Read WINC Wire’s coverage of the first 10 Spark by Hilton signings with Olive Hospitality and Conrad’s expanded cultural experience programme.
