Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead on complex ER casework and provide strategic support within our HR team. This role is crucial for handling a variety of employee relations issues and influencing senior stakeholders through effective ER data and reporting. The successful candidate will be a key player in supporting our transformational growth and positioning the company as an employer of choice.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Case Management: Handle complex ER cases including grievances, disciplinaries, performance issues, and sickness absence. Support redundancy, restructures, and change programmes.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment law and internal HR policies; prepare for legislative changes such as the Employment Rights Bill.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Utilise ER data and reports to support decision-making and influence stakeholders.
- Training & Development: Design and deliver ER training for managers to build capability and confidence, understanding the root causes of ER issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Degree level or equivalent, CIPD Qualified preferred.
- Experience: Strong experience in leading change management initiatives and extensive caseload management for a diverse client group.
- Skills: Strong project management skills, up-to-date knowledge of employment law, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office and HR Information Systems.
- Attributes: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, strong facilitation skills, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
