Role Purpose and Description
The Senior HRBP will provide strategic and operational HR support to over 250 employees across multiple UK offices. This role partners with business leaders to drive people strategies, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment with organisational goals, contributing directly to organisational performance and employee engagement.
The Senior HRBP will be a subject matter expert in business partnering, with a focus on building strong relationships, enabling workforce effectiveness, and delivering tactical outcomes with strategic thinking. This role is instrumental in executing high-impact people initiatives.
The Senior HRBP operates with autonomy—navigating ambiguity, solving moderately complex challenges, and influencing outcomes across teams and regions.
Key Responsibilities
HR Partnering
- Act as a strategic partner to UK business leaders, shaping people plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Coach and influence managers on leadership, performance, engagement, and capability development.
- Partner with global HR colleagues to localise and implement people initiatives in the UK.
Employee Relations
- Lead complex ER cases with fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
- Provide proactive guidance to managers on employee relations, absence management, and wellbeing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and advise on policy and practice.
Compensation, Benefits & Reward
- Deliver annual reward processes (salary reviews, bonus cycles) with global Reward teams.
- Advise managers and employees on reward frameworks, benefits, and recognition.
- Monitor reward competitiveness through benchmarking and insights.
Performance & Development
- Embed performance management processes across the organisation.
- Support succession planning and capability-building in partnership with Talent & OD teams.
- Promote learning opportunities and coach managers on team development.
Workforce Planning & Change
- Partner with leaders on organisational design, restructures, and transformation.
- Provide HR support during change initiatives, ensuring engagement and risk mitigation.
- Align workforce planning with business goals and global models.
Data & Insights
- Produce and interpret HR dashboards to identify trends in attrition, engagement, and performance.
- Use insights to influence leadership discussions and shape HR actions.
- Partner with Finance and Operations for accurate workforce planning data.
- Support organisational changes, restructuring, and DEI initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Comprehensive HR generalist expertise across the full HR lifecycle
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and practical application
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders across multiple geographies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present data-driven insights
- Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change and transformation
- High cultural awareness and ability to operate within a global, matrixed organisation
- Understanding of ISO27001 People Controls and ability to embed compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent)
Desirable
- International HR experience
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms
- Project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Knowledge of succession planning frameworks and workforce planning strategies
- Understanding of reward structures and benefits administration
