As a&nbsp;<strong>Senior Specialist, Employee Relations<\/strong>, you will be the key operational expert for complex ER matters, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with German labor law and Works Council agreements within our Berlin establishment. You will manage high-touch employee situations and serve as the vital link between People Partners, business leaders, and the Works Council on critical operational decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide expert advice and\u00a0hands-on support in managing a diverse range of complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and long-term sick leave.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all employee matters are dealt with in line with company policy, best practice, and legislative requirements to\u00a0mitigate risk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as a subject matter expert, providing sound ER advice and guidance to\u00a0People Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders\u00a0on standard and complex issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare information, and documentation\u00a0to assist in the consultation of works councils to advise on business decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the Employee Relations Lead in\u00a0consultation processes and negotiations with the Works Council\u00a0on operational matters, Works Agreements, and change initiatives, fostering a constructive partnership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all ER case files, documentation, and outcomes (e.g., related to performance reviews, BEM, or Hamburger Models) are\u00a0accurately prepared, organized, and uploaded\u00a0into the relevant HR systems (like Workday) in compliance with data privacy and internal policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What you need to be successful<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have gained\u00a0at least 4\u00a0years\u00a0of professional experience in an\u00a0Employee Relations or People-focused role\u00a0(e.g., HR Support, People Analytics, or HR Business Partner) and a bachelor&#8217;s degree in HR, Employment Law or related field.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Case Management:\u00a0You have\u00a0hands-on experience in managing a variety of ER cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have experience working with a\u00a0German Works Council\u00a0and are skilled in preparing documentation for and assisting in consultation processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are a\u00a0structured thinker\u00a0with a high\u00a0eye for detail\u00a0and bring a passion for\u00a0creative problem-solving.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent stakeholder management skills\u00a0with an ability to connect at all levels of an organization and foster positive collaborative environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in English.\u00a0German language skills are a big plus\u00a0for effective collaboration with the Works Council and local
